Safe Sport Training for Coaches
Shooting Star Basketball Association aims to offer safe, welcoming, and inclusive sport environments to help make basketball rewarding and enriching for everyone.
The Coaching Association of Canada offers Safe Sport Training. This training provides participants with the knowledge and skills to create those environments by recognizing, addressing, and preventing maltreatment in sport.
The training takes approximately an hour to complete, and it is free of charge!
